MacMurchy School of Highland Dance
Since 1994, we have offered classes to kids aged 4 through to adult, under the director Maggie MacMurchy, (BATD and ScotDance member), in Alliston, Ontario.
Our classes are fun and focused on technique, form, history of the dance, and building self confidence. We offer BATD Exams, competitions and performances. Various dances learned and performed such as the Highland Fling, the Sword Dance and National Scottish dances.
We are always involved in community performances with local pipers and members of the YRP Pipes and Drums.
